Russian taxi service inDriver starts working in India, Indonesia

MOSCOW, Sep 11 (PRIME) -- Russian online taxi hailing service inDriver has expanded in Asia and started working in India and Indonesia, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Wednesday.

inDriver started working in the Indian city of Chandigarh and the Indonesian city of Medan. The service will shortly enter the market of Bandung, the capital of West Java province in Indonesia.

The service was joined by more than 4,000 drivers in Chandigarh and more than 5,000 drivers in Medan, and their number constantly rises. Local drivers will not pay any commission during the coming months.

“We see an explosive rise of interest of users in these cities,” the company spokesperson said.
